PBS program follows Natl Guard platoon

FRONTLINE: bad voodoo’s war | PBS

I happened to be looking through the TV listings last night and flipped to this program because I thought it might be interesting.  For the next hour I was completely glued to the screen as I watched the raw reality of these men unfold.  This isn’t an action packed recruitment video for the military.  It’s a video diary made by the soldiers themselves.  The video isn’t about the conflict itself, but rather the effect is has on the men and those close to them.  For their sake, I hope this war is brought to a close very soon.  To the men of Bad Voodoo:  Thank you for everything you’ve done and are doing to serve our country.  We owe you and your families a debt that can never be fully repaid.

Find 815

Nan and I stayed up until almost 2a.m. last night playing the LOST alternate reality game “Find 815.” The game was a lot of fun, but because we got into it late, we had the advantage of being able to go through the content in a non-linear fashion. (though I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who hasn’t yet seen the site.) If you’re a fan of the LOST TV series, you should check out this site before it goes away. (which is supposedly in another 7 weeks or so) There are a lot of clues and bits of information that tie directly into the LOST series. Even if you ‘re not a fan, the puzzles and clue hunts are fun by themselves.
