I got into electronics when I was around 9 or 10 and got hooked on computers shortly thereafter. I also love Sci-Fi, (not fantasy) particularly Star Trek. Zap2it.com – Movie review – Doom

Like many people my age, I have a love for the original DooM game. While Wolfenstein 3D kick-started the first-person shooter genre, DooM was the first truly immersive game of it’s type.

The DooM story line has real potential, and could’ve had in the hands of good writers and directors. However that was not to be. As one of my friends commented, the Universal logo around an image of Mars is probably the best part of the movie. Do yourself a favor and wait until this is on TV. Don’t worry, it won’t be long.

Quake 4 is out!

QUAKE 4

Well gamefans… Quake 4 is finally out. This ain’t no arena, this is a full-blown sequel to Quake 2, and by the looks of it, this one should more than live up to the title. I may have to run out and pick up a copy this afternoon. 🙂
