All of you fellow bloggers out there can rest a little easier today. Apple Computer lost its case against the PowerPage blog, (among others). The case centered around the right of bloggers to protect their sources as their traditional media counterparts have. Apple claimed they had a right to know who was leaking their trade secrets. Thankfully the court understood the constitutional ramifications of the case and sided with the bloggers.

Microsoft releases new betas
Microsoft released a number of new beta copies of their OS and application software yesterday. Naturally I downloaded the latest beta of Vista. There are also new beta versions of their next generation server OS and Office 2007. I’m continuing to update my Vista test log as I play around with the new OS.
Cats and Computers
One of my colleages sent me this link and I couldn’t resist posting it. (It’s just so cute..) While my cat does try to step on my laptop, it’s more about getting attention than looking for warmth. One of my friends used to have a couple of cats that enjoyed soaking up the warmth of his CRT monitors. Cats are so much fun!
