OMG, 2 updates in 1 week!

Hey, maybe this keeping my site up-to-date thing will last? Hey, stranger things have happened.

Case Pics
Well, I promised pics of my gaming machine, so here they are in all their crappy webcam quality.. Hey, I said I’d put up pics. I didn’t say they’d be good. 😉

(from left to right) This is it. I haven’t come up with a cool name for it yet, but on the network it goes by “Conrad.” (2) That’s the CoolerMaster Aerogate II fan controller/temp monitor unit on top. It’s cheap and does quite a good job. (I’ll probably be removing the faceplates to my drives for painting soon.) The last 2 pics show my little atari sticker and the popular TicTac mod. I put the sticker on there partly for decoration, and partly because it’s associated with my favorite game. (UT2003) The TicTac mod is something I came up with to hook-up the front-panel audio on my motherboard to the cheesy connectors that came with my case. 1 TicTac box, a ribbon cable from an old gameport connector, $5 in parts from Radio Shack and voila!

Holy cow, an update!!

Stop the presses, watch for flying pigs and strange weather.. Clay has actually updated his website!! Yes that’s right folks.. a page that has seen no updates in over 2 years has suddenly been rediscovered by it’s creator. 😉

DTDM Round 2
Last night’s Downtown Deathmatch LAN party was great in spite of the low turnout. The Unreal Tournament 2003 match was probably the most intense, most fun 4 hours of the entire event. (Joe seems to think so too…) We played bombing run with low grav and instagib and I must say it rocked. If you’re into PC gaming and you haven’t checked out this event, you definitely should. Downtown Deathmatch

First Time @ DTDM
My first time at Downtown Deathmatch was the November event of last year. I didn’t really know anyone there, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Being that this was the first time I’d ever played Counter Strike with a group, I was really surprised to be on the team that won the double-elimination tournament. I have to say, all the credit should go to my teammates. This was also the first time I’d brought my black-n-blue modded monster machine out in public. I’ve still got some work to do on it, but I think it did really well considering. Here are some pics I grabbed off of Joe’s site:
