Last week my grandfather, McIver Brooks passed away. It’s never easy losing someone close to you, but it’s even harder when it’s a family member you’ve grown up with. I think I’ve been able to deal with it pretty well partly because I know that he isn’t suffering any longer. It’s probably also due in part to the joy I experience when I look at my baby daughter.
