Seagate announces 750GB hard drive

Seagate today announced a huge leap in storage capacity made possible by their perpendicular recording technology. The cost is still under 1$/GB at $559 MSRP. It won’t be at all surprising if we see a 1TB drive from them in the next couple of years.
