I learned all about an effect called hyperreality in my journalism classes, but this goes beyond that right into full-on delusional behavior.  This chick aparently wrote a love note to Letterman and actually believes he&#8217;s been talking to her, in code, via his nightly broadcasts since then.  (since 1994)  I mean, I feel bad for her, but it really is funny.  The fact that she even got the restraining order is amazing.
