{"id":318,"date":"2008-08-12T23:51:31","date_gmt":"2008-08-13T03:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/clay.blogdns.net\/?p=318"},"modified":"2008-08-13T00:09:52","modified_gmt":"2008-08-13T04:09:52","slug":"nanoantenna-technology-shows-promise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/claymccauley.info\/index.php\/2008\/08\/12\/nanoantenna-technology-shows-promise\/","title":{"rendered":"Nanoantenna technology shows promise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"INL\" href=\"https:\/\/inlportal.inl.gov\/portal\/server.pt?open=512&amp;objID=255&amp;mode=2\">INL<\/a> has created something I used to ponder as a kid.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/startrek.com\">Star Trek<\/a> was one of my favorite shows growing up, but I always wondered how some of that high-tech gear could work if it was real.\u00a0 I used to imagine some type of layer that would collect the heat generated within a fusion reactor and convert it directly into electrical power.\u00a0 This, I thought is how it would be done in the future rather than some clunky mechanical solution like a turbine.
