At the risk of looking like an AMD fanboy, here it is:<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Top 10 Reasons<br \/>\nIntel did not Participate in the Dual-Core Duel<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p>10. Tried to follow their own roadmap to get to the duel<br \/>\n9. Decided to take the &#8220;front-side bus&#8221; to the duel; got stuck in a<br \/>\nbottleneck<br \/>\n8. The &#8220;Intel Inside&#8221; stickers they used to package the cores<br \/>\ntogether keep melting<br \/>\n7. Too busy rearranging the deck chairs on the Itanic<br \/>\n6. &#8220;Hey, we don&#8217;t expect anyone to actually buy these things!\u201c<br \/>\n5. Didn&#8217;t want to compete when they realized that the duel would<br \/>\ninvolve actual &#8220;rules&#8221; of fair competition<br \/>\n4. They couldn&#8217;t get a permit from the fire department to emit that<br \/>\nmuch heat<br \/>\n3. No systems available yet &#8212; protective clothing used by<br \/>\nmanufacturers only safe for up to 149 watts<br \/>\n2.  Dell told them they weren&#8217;t allowed to participate<\/p>\n<p>And the number one reason Intel didn\u2019t accept the dual-core duel:<\/p>\n<p>1.  Moore&#8217;s Law has been replaced by &#8220;Paul&#8217;s Paradox&#8221;: the number<br \/>\nof canceled products per year at Intel will double every year<br \/>\nafter the introduction of the AMD Opteron\u2122 processor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While this has no doubt been out for a little while, I thought it was pretty funny.
