I&#8217;m giving the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windowsvista\/\">Vista<\/a> beta (build 5308) a <a href=\"\/index.php\/2006\/01\/28\/windows-vista-first-impressions\/\">test drive<\/a> and I&#8217;m installing <a href=\"http:\/\/fedora.redhat.com\/\">Fedora Core 5<\/a> on my wifi test box.  Already I can tell that the new vista is a much more polished product.  I&#8217;m also interested to see how RedHat&#8217;s latest stable release shapes up.
